Shiawassee County Community Mental Health Authority has professional staff experienced in elder specific issues and provide a variety of services in the community.
These services focus on early intervention, prevention, and treatment specifically targeted to the aging population.

Provides referral information and phone contacts for the lonely.
Makes reminder calls to the elderly.
When needed, it handles phone contacts for the lonely elderly.

Shiawassee Council on Aging (SCOA)

300 N. Washington St. Owosso, MI 48867 - 989-723-8875
Provides multiple services to persons 60 or over.
Includes home help, delivered meals, chore services, and respite services.
SCOA also serves meals at the following three sites:
Owosso, Durand, and Morrice.
